Round about 5pm JLP got a call which sent him out with camera in hand in Hereford. If ever there were an opportunity to demonstrate traffic lights out, this was it. On Saturday 8th November, the traffic lights failed on two junctions, near the railway station/Morrisons/KFC junction, and the nearby set by the Stonebow Unit. At the same time lights the other end of the town in Edgar Street/Victoria Street were all working and the roads gridlocked were told by couriers in that vicinity. The only place traffic was moving smoothly was where the lights were not working. People, where left to work it out for themselves, were courteous and giving way to others as they would be in other situations in life. Instead of me first it became after you, and this with a steady stream of train arrivals, people leaving Morrisons and the mall at Lidls.
