Round table hands on workshops focused on designing various Crowd funding canvas to make CFI (Crowd funding Initiator) the flagship initiative of GIC (GTU Innovation Council) a high impact scalable model to support young innovators after they complete their final year project 25th, 26th & 27th, 29th July 2014, time- 10.00 A.M to 3.00 P.M At S4 (Student Start-up Support System) Co-creation Centre, Conference room 2nd floor ACPC Building, Inside LDCE Campus, GTU Ahd. Campus While attempting the 1st edition of CFI (Crowd funding Initiator) at S4 we got huge success in supporting 8 teams who had recently passed out in their final year and were in need of resource support to take their innovation to product stage and finally to market. Hon’ble VC GTU Prof Akshai Aggarwal and Mr Hiranmay Mahanta, Honorary Director GTU Innovation Council while fully backing this initiative also shared to the mentors that such efforts could be scaled up to new height so that we could support nearly 100 projects every year. The experts had quickly worked out a strategy to take a call to this appeal and making serious efforts to take facility of CFI to every innovative student across GTU. The team at GIC and S4 is now making a step by step framework with clear easy to do hands on modules for this and going to train the GTU Innovation Club coordinators who later on will take the learning to their respective colleges. We at CFI (Crowd funding Initiator) at S4 have developed various hands on modules through which any innovative student team can prepare their final year project crowd fund ready. This process will involve canvasing the entire exercise through few modules like: Reward Canvas, crowd funding Basics/valuation Canvas, Social media canvas, crowd funding Post Launch strategy canvas etc. To validate the developed modules we have arranged 4 workshops involving last CFI participants, new aspiring team who have finished their IDP/UDP/Final year project and now trying to go for crowd funding. Who can participate? Any passed out student, Crowd fund ready projects, GIC fellows having interest in innovation strategy new pedagogy development, experts with expertise in design thinking and crowd funding are welcome to participate in the above program at S4, Conference room at S4, GTU Ahd campus.
