Roundabout need no magic to beat Boca Monday night saw the title race take yet another twist as Altnagelvin roundabout took on the league leaders Boca Seniors . Boca were handed a boost before kick off with the return of Darren Marshall at the back he has been suplime when he has featured for the blues this campaign . The game got underway and started with a very fast tempo all the early running coming from Danny Roberts men. Aaron Noble who has been superb all season had the first chance as he curled his shot just past the post an early warning sign for Chris Strains side. Noble had Boca up inside four minutes as he slammed in a world class cross from Darren Marshall a big welcome back for Marshall as his pace took him down the wing to cross low into the box. Altnagelvin Roundabout nearly leveled when a Josh Bass played in Paddy Flack only for Josh Bunting to parry out of the danger zone. Adam McDowell had the ball on the net for Two-Nil when he controlled the ball out of the sky just like Dimitar Berbatov he shuffled the ball out of his feet to cooly slot away past James Patterson. Chris Strain who has been the best manager in the league this season as his team just keeps improving and it was they who nearly had a way back in it as Josh Bunting punched away Hugo Lloris like from Paddy Flacks leap. The yellows however did pull a goal back when Flacks cross found Tristan Rodgers at the back post he subsequently tapped home like Dirk Kuyt in his Liverpool days. Strains side cranked up the volume as they levelled when flack played on Bass one on one after shocking Boca defending he finished low into the net . Roundabout were playing very well taking the game to Boca throwing caution to the wind, Chris Strain had them ahead with a real world class finish picking the ball up jut inside his own half driving at the Boca defence before driving the ball home. James Paterson kept Boca at bay with two fantastic saves first from Adam McDowell tipping the ball over the bar like a cat then to deny Noble as he ran in one on one . Manager Danny Roberts made a tactical switch bringing on Ross Anderson who was involved right in the action as he slipped in Noble to drive low into the net would seniors kick on from here. Josh Bunting then made a good save to keep out Rodgers when he volleyed goal-wards The keeper diving low to his right. However Atnagelvin did take the Lead when Flack shot was put into his own net by Bunting a very poor mistake by the keeper as Bocas frustration came out. Roundabout were then five four ahead when Bunting made a great save to too the ball out with no covering defenders Bass smashed home into the empty net Hal time Altnagelvin Roundabout 5-3 Boca Seniors Danny Roberts cut into his men at the break as he was very unhappy with the first half viewing as Boca came back out to get themselves back into The fixture. Noble then had a superb chance to put Boca back in the game as he headed goal wards only for a superb save by James Patterson. Roundabout had another goal as Flacks shot went through Bunting at the near post a nightmare for the young keeper this summed up Bocas night. Patterson was really in a fantastic mood with some wonderful saves the latest to deny McDowell as his low shot was superbly saved by the keepers outstretched leg. Strains side had yet another goal as he crossed in for Flack to volley into the net as it looked like all three points were going into Roundabouts bank. Boca did have one back as Marshalls strike was only parried by Patterson the ball rolling out to Noble who finished with no problem . Luke Gregg nearly had another goal pulled back as his header was once again well saved by Patterson pouncing to his left. Bass out the Roundabout in a commanding position as he struck a low shot threw the legs of Bunting, Danny Roberts the Vincent Kompany of the league came on to the field of play and made some fantastic tackles clearing one of the line in the process. Boca fell apart like a Turkey at Christmas as they conceded three in quick succession as Rodgers, strain and Flack all hit sweet as a Nut strikes . Bunting was being exposed to one on ones all the time with Bocas poor defending as they piled forward to try to pull a goal or two back. Noble did do this as he cut inside and shot low into the net leaving Patterson with very little chance of saving . Altnagelvin got their victory to prove that they are not a team of pushovers as they outplayed Boca making them look like little Boys. But the man of the match is Church league Ni man of the match James Patterson made a string of superb saves at vital times to keep Boca at bay very good goalkeeping .
