Rove and Hannity (and anyone else that is crying about this) need to get over the Salute nonsense. Bush Sr. was the only true ex Military (and highly decorated) President weve had since Reagan started the President saluting the Military nonsense. (Reagan was active duty with orders to the First Motion Picture Unit and Bush Jr. was a reservists). But even Bush Sr. should not have been saluting anyone when not in Uniform and Covered (with hat on). Sure Obama doing what he did is disrespectful, but every single salute from every single President to anyone in uniform has been disrespectful. Just as disrespectful as any asshole that is saluting the Flag during the National Anthem and that person is not in Uniform. A few other things, you dont salute when walking down stairs, its a tripping hazard. You dont salute under Prop blades (hello Marine One is a Helicopter), especially ones that are still spinning, for the same safety reason. And a salute is meant as a sign of respect between two (or more) service men/women. So that means that you stop and face the person you are saluting, which video evidence shows that NONE of the presidents have done on a regular basis, unless they were addressing a crowd already facing them. In my short Military experience, I witnessed many Officers, even Commanders, Captains and Admirals that saluted with crap in their hands all the time!!!!! Get over this, you all just look really stupid.
