Roxana asks: Question for the group: Im planning for a 2 week vacation. Ill be in a vacation rental with a kitchen, but its a tiny town, and I cant count on a Whole Foods or Trader Joes in the vicinity. What essentials should I take with me? Im planning on eating 2 meals a day in and only 1 out, so will be using the kitchen facilities in the house. I can obviously purchase meat and produce, but perhaps not any speciality items. If you have suggestions, Im reserving room in the checked luggage for whatever kitchen necessities I should pack. Im taking my EZ-sweetz bottle. Will have plenty of QuestBars, jerkey, and the like packed. Im hoping to have some muffins and bread in my suitcase, if I can manage a baking day just before leaving. Is there something obvious Im overlooking? (I am not leaving the country, so thats not an issue.)
