Roxas SP to probe VM Dadivas, Sec Beluso for IRP violation The Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) of Roxas will investigate Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas and SP Secretary Dino Beluso for “ flagrant and repeated violation of the internal rules and procedure of the sanggunian. “The investigation will put closure with the present predicament of the SP in having an imbroglio and problem with the Vice Mayor(Dadivas) who believes that he’s still the present presiding of the sangguniang panlungsod,” said Councilor Julius Abela, author of the resolution. “Beluso on the other hand violated the internal rules by repeatedly refusing to obey the instructions of the chairman-committee on rules on what matters to be included in the agenda,” Abela added. The SP in a special session on Thursday also approved the creation of the “Committee of the Whole” to be headed by Councilor Jose Agdalipe that will conduct the investigation. Employees of the SP including Beluso were conspicuously absent during the special session called by the majority of the councilors. A legislative staff from the office of Councilor Trina Ignacio took-over as the temporary secretary. Beluso, the SP secretary since 2004 declined to comment on the decision of the councilors.
