The Wellington Phoenix striker who has been in fine form lately has been named in the teams squad for tonights match. Wellington Phoenix which is placed fourth on the A-League ladder with 19 points is the favourites against the bottom placed Wanderers. Krishna, who has scored five goals in the competition so far, has made the starting line-up in the past few matches. He has proven to be a lethal striking partner of sensational Nathan Burns who has scored 10 goals in 11 matches this season. The Labasa man is the first Pacific Islander to score in the A-League and only the third Pacific Islander to play in the A-League, following Solomon Islanders Henry Faarodo (Perth Glory, 2005-06) and Benjamin Totori (Phoenix, 2012-13). Krishna also scored in the FIFA Club World Cup for Auckland City last year, making him the first Pacific Islander to achieve this milestone. The Wellington Phoenix versus Western Sydney Wanderers match will kick off at 7pm.
