#Rpgaday For day two its the first RPG I ever ran. My first GMing experience was with D&D. I ran a Forgotten Realms game set on the Dragon Coast (still my favourite FR locale) in which the party were tasked with tracking down children who were routinely being kidnapped from the city of Elversult. The game saw the party, made up of a dwarf fighter cleric, a human necromancer, a halfling rogue, a half-orc barbarian, an elf bard and a human druid taking on the Cult of the Dragon, who through child sacrifice were practicing a ritual designed to rapidly speed the growth of a baby dragon that would literally burst from beneath the streets of Elversult. After vanquishing Cyricists, cultists, fiendish carrion crawlers and dealing with the halflings contraction of typhoid (a lot of the game was set in an expansive sewer) the party saved the day. Elversult was subsequently crushed by an avatar of Moander. I still think fondly of that game and can still remember tiny details I put into it, despite it being ten years ago. I remember being on an Anton Chekhov kick at the time, so a lot of my NPCs were named after his characters. Vershinin was the lead cultist. Ah. Memories. I wish I still had my maps and character sheets.
