Rte 113 - A loop through Lordship on RTE 113 on Day 1 of road - TopicsExpress

Rte 113 - A loop through Lordship on RTE 113 on Day 1 of road project Road, as promised, was closed to traffic on November 5th, 2014. Now there is only one way into and out of Lordship. This video segment is Leg 1 of the very short road trip through Lordship via RTE 113. RTE 113 includes Lordship Blvd aka Burma Rd, and parts of Oak Bluff Ave, Prospect Dr, Stratford Rd, and Main St. Signage for RTE113 can be confusing; when travelling into Lordship (basically heading South) on Lordship Blvd, you are on RTE 113 North according the sign! This is because this Route is shaped like a horseshoe. It loops through Lordship so when you are heading into Lordship on Lordship Blvd, you are heading south... but when you come out at the other side (by turning left from Prospect Dr, onto Stratford Rd, you are heading North. Stratford Rd becomes Main Street where the road construction is taking place. So in this video, we are heading into Lordship on RTE 113 (Lordship Blvd, aka Burma Rd); then we take a left onto Oak Bluff Ave. If we did not take the turn, but continued straight, the road becomes Stratford Rd at the stop sign. But we did turn left, and after going half way around a traffic circle, the road becomes Prospect Dr. The firehouse is on the right, and then Lordship Community Church. At the traffic light, in the next video segment, we will turn left onto Stratford Rd to continue on RTE 113 North. Confused yet? No worries if so, not a big deal! It may become clearer after viewing this video segment.Note: My fear is that a tractor trailer truck will block the road if it does not negotiate the tight turns at the intersection of Oak Bluff and Lordship Blvd correctly and gets stuck.
