Ruff Day Today has been a ruff day, Ive had seizures all day. I slept until 2:30pm and been shakin & bakin since. Regardless of all my health problems God is still in control. I have no anger or Why me? issues. Why me? Why not me? The Bible says we should count it all joy when we face these different trials and tribulations ( my paraphrase.) God has given me a spirit of joy and peace, He has not given up on me He has allowed this to teach me and He knows I am strong enough to handle it. He will not put more on us than we can handle. Praise God that He has deemed me worthy of these trials and tribulations. Learning the Christian walk is no different than learning anything else, the tough teachers are the ones we learn the most from. We learn very little from a lazy uncaring teacher. Following Jesus Im mean really following Jesus not warming a pew is not for the weak, it takes a strong person to do the will of God. We get that strength from God, He gives us strength to endure the trials that He allows us to go thru so we learn and grow deeper in our relationship with Him. A deep meaningful relationship with God is what He wants, not religion or denomination. Our relationship with Jesus has absolutely nothing to do with what sign is on our church. Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal, Methodist, Assembly of God or any other name you can think of. I am not saying they are bad thats not my place to do, what I am saying is no one church has a monopoly on God. Many people think if we dont worship as they do we are wrong and that is why so many people have been driven away from church. As long as we believe in Jesus and salvation only thru Him thats what gets us to Heaven not man made rules. Much Love Preacher Watson
