Rugby League Legend... Sam Burgess. Sam is 65, 252 pounds..and he broke his cheek bone and his eye socket on the opening play of the Australian Rugby League Grand Final on Sunday. He played the entire 80 minute game and steered his team to their first championship in 43 years. Without a doubt one of the finest examples of guts and determination in any sport I have ever seen in my 67 years of being a sports fan. His tears of joy at the end of the game brought a tear to half the nation on Sunday night.(me too) Sam Burgess = Warrior One of the best ever and now a Legend of Rugby League. What an inspiration.
