Rugby to our people! Its in the blood, its religion in the Pacific Islands! Rugby to us is what football is to South Americans!! I guess thats why the fans favour our brand of footy, the strength and likeable razzle dazzle style footy we play and the passion we have for it, is the reason both codes ( Union/league ) cant get enough of! We (Australians) should invest in education like the Americans do. Its a great system I think! If things dont plan out in footy for ya whether its because of injuries or you just fell short of the top side, you still have a recognised university degree which you can still pursue and have a successful career. Australia needs to invest in putting there young athletes through university and make it so you can only make 1st grade once finished your 4 year degree. (with exceptions if yourre an absolute GUN!). Make the university competition a big thing. Maybe Instead of having the Holden cup, make it the Unicup I dont know! But you know what I mean ay! Anyways dont know why Im talking about this! It was what was on my mind I guess! I think I went from one story to another!...to another now Im watching the footy show! Great story on Alex! Wayne Bennett! dead set this bloke is a legend!
