Rukmini Callimachi last week authored a fabulous story in the NYT about how European governments were secretly paying Al Qaeda ransom for kidnapped citizens, money helping to fund potential terrorism. This week Medill Watchdog intern Christian Holub interviews Callimachi about the incredible effort that went into the story, dating back to her discovery of documents when she was at AP.
