Rules Question: Descent of Angels. It says A Blood Angels unit - TopicsExpress

Rules Question: Descent of Angels. It says A Blood Angels unit with this special rule can re-roll failed reserve rolls if arriving by Deep Strike. Also, due to the precision of their descent, it scatter D6 less (normally D6 rather than 2D6). If I have Assault Marines (who have DoA) in a drop pod (which does not) can I re-roll reserves? clearly I dont get reduced scatter, but when rolling to see if they come in, is it the unit or the pod that Im rolling for? BRB on reserves At the start of your second turn, you must roll a D6 for each unit in your army that is being held in Reserve – these are known as Reserve Rolls. If the roll is a 3 or more, that unit arrives this turn. If the roll is less than 3 it remains in Reserve and is rolled for again next turn. At the start of your third turn, roll for any units remaining in Reserve. If the roll is a 3 or more, that unit arrives this turn. If the roll is less than 3, it remains in Reserve and automatically arrives at the start of your fourth turn. Some special rules can modify the roll required for a unit to arrive from Reserve. thoughts? also Shawn Hook probably should FAQ it, the internet has many threads that end in both sides saying their interpretation is RAW, and GW never FAQd it in 5th or 6th.
