Rules: Ten books in no particular order that have stayed with you in some way. Dont take more than a few minutes and dont try to list the right or great works. 1) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban~ JK J.K. Rowling I love the entire series, but this is technically the first on I ever opened, and Ive always loved the pacing and the new characters it brought in. 2) Alanna the First Adventure~Tamora Pierce I own and Love each full novel shes published, and Im always looking forward to more. She is a fantastic author with fantastic characters, female and male a like. Shes in inspiration. But Alanna was the first, so Ill always come back to my signed copy. 3) Through Wolfs Eyes~ Jane Lindskold Love the entire series, its a wonderful rich story, and a nice step up into more poltical fantasy, with a nice dash of magic thrown in. But naturally the first one is what caught my eye in the library one day, so it starts the whole trend. 5) The Enchanted Forrest Chronicles~ Patricia Wrede Theyre a fun creative mash up of a collection of fairytale characters and a princess that would rather be friends and live with a dragon than a prince. 6) The Two Princess of Bamarre~Gail Carson Levine Though I enjoy most all of her books, I have to say that this one is by far my favorite. Strong female characters, and a wonderful adveture (starting to notice a tread yet?) 7) Holes~Louis Sachar Its rare Ill have a book from school that actually stuck with me, but I actually looked forward to reading this one. 8) A Handmaids Tale~ Margaret Atwood Another school book that I simply loved, and I think was my first proper introduction to disutopia. 9) Ill Love You Forever~Robert Munsch When a lullaby gets stuck in your head years later, Id say it was a keeper. 10) Dr Seuesss ABC~ Many Mumbling Mice are Making Merry Music in the Moonlight
