Rules of Spelling Rule-01: Mono এক (এক) Syllable বিশিষ্ট কোনো word- এর শেষে একটি মাত্র consonant এবং তার পূর্বে একটিমাত্র vowel থাকলে, এই word-এর সাথে যদি vowel দিয়ে শুরু হওয়া কোনা suffix যুক্ত হয়, তবে vowel-টির শেষে consonant double হয়ে যাবে। For Example: Get + ing = getting Big + er = bigger Sin + er = sinner Exception: Narrow + er = Narrower. Rule-02: তবে শেষে যুক্ত হওয়া suffix টির শুরুতে consonant থাকলে বা monosyllabic word টির শেষ consonant-এর আগে দু’টি vowel খাকলে শেষ consonant টি Double হয় না। For Example: Sin + ful = sinful Wool + en = woolen Sleep + y = sleepy নিজের সুবিধামতো সময়ে পড়তে শেয়ার করে নিজের টাইমলাইনে রাখুন।
