Rumours, gossip, transfer news and signings from all of the top European clubs. Its Transfer Talk time! Man United move for Morata Lets begin with the curious rumour that Alvaro Morata is ready to jump ship at Real Madrid to join Manchester United this summer. According to The Daily Star, the 21-year-old has decided to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in pursuit of first-team football which, of course, hes bound to find at a club that already boast Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney in their armoury. Perhaps Morata should give Javier Hernandez a quick call to ask about the squad rotation policy at Old Trafford -- with no European football next season it looks like Uniteds back-up strikers will be given even less playing time. The Spain Under-21 international is also a long-term target for Arsenal and was linked with a loan move to the Emirates Stadium in January. Its thought that Arsene Wenger will rekindle his interest in the forward, but Real Madrid are likely to insist on a buy-back clause should Morata depart. Kroos bound for Blues? This is a cracking piece of rumour-mongering from The Daily Mail, which claims that Toni Kroos could still end up in the Premier League following interest from Chelsea. The Bayern Munich midfielder has been linked to Manchester United since what feels like the dawn of time, but Louis van Gaal pulled the plug on a proposed 20-million-pound bid last week. Nobody knows why, but nobody dares to ask either. It looks like Chelsea are now set to swoop, but the Blues would apparently prefer to snap up Kroos on a free transfer when his contract expires in summer 2015. According to The Mail, Jose Mourinho is keen for a deal to happen and hopes to speak to Kroos representatives in January, when the Germany international is free to talk to other clubs. Etoo, Brute? That might have been the question Samuel Etoo posed to Jose Mourinho after the manager embarrassed him by joking to the press about his age, and that quarrel has apparently encouraged the striker to stay in the Premier League and prove Mourinho wrong. Arsenal are supposedly leading the race for the 33-year-old free-agent, and The Mirror claims that, while Etoo is keen to stay in London, his main motivation for playing in the Prem is to show Mourinho how wrong he was. The Cameroon international has called Mourinho a fool and a puppet in recent weeks, proving there is no love lost between the pair. Mo money, mo problems Manchester City might be one of the richest clubs in the world, but they could struggle to hold on to their star players after winning the Premier League. Following Yaya Toures public flirtation with Paris Saint-Germain, Sergio Aguero has popped up on Real Madrids radar, with the Champions League winners thought to be plotting a 60-million-pound offer for the striker. Aguero could arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu as a replacement for Karim Benzema, who reportedly favours a move back to France despite interest from Arsenal. Old Lady gossip When Juventus chief executive Beppe Marotta starts talking, you can rest assured that Transfer Talk is listening. The Juve honcho has had plenty to say on recent speculation, and began by dismissing reports that Didier Drogba is closing in on a move to Turin. Drogba is a free agent and we have been offered him. But we have not taken him into consideration, said Marotta. [Alexis] Sanchez is a player we really appreciate, but for the moment we havent moved yet. Saving the best gossip til last like a true pro, Marotta also revealed that Real Madrid are fluttering their eyelashes at Arturo Vidal. Real Madrid have shown an appreciation of Vidal, but thats it, he continued. And with [Paul] Pogba we hope to meet in the coming weeks to renew his contract. Odds and ends - Must try Arda -- thats the end-of-season report for Manchester United following a miserable campaign, but the Old Trafford outfit could be about to strengthen their squad with a move for Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan. The wingers teammate Miranda is not thought to be on Louis van Gaals wish list, however, despite speculation in the Spanish press that the defender is close to sealing a 24-million-pound switch to United. - Another player who wont be moving to Old Trafford is Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera. The Daily Star says the 24-year-old, who was tipped for a 32-million-pound transfer to United last summer, has been told hes going nowhere. - After outlining their intention to attract a stellar name, New York City FC are rumoured to be closing in on a deal for David Villa. According to Spanish radio station COPE, the Atletico Madrid striker is set to move to the Big Apple on a three-year deal following Spains participation at the World Cup. - Liverpools bid for Emre Can has reached a sticking point over the midfielders personal terms. The Liverpool Echo says the 20-year-old is dragging his feet over a possible transfer, with Liverpool set to tell him no Can do over his wage demands.
