Run 100 – Frederick’s Landing Centenary 19 October 26, 2014 – Squat, White Trash & Nosehare The running of the 100th Kamloops Hash House Harriers was perfect. The weather was seasonally warmer than usual (you’re welcome – RA) - only to be out done by the great Hostess and the Host, White Trash and Squat. A fine Pack of 18 showed up to enjoy the beautiful setting on the shores of Kamloops Lake, including some Hashers we haven’t seen in a fair while, great to see you all out!! The trail was easy to follow and flat and dry and well-marked, and provided a fine test for all Hashers’ ankles!! The runners were challenged and the wankers were happy to finish before the runners so they could get more refreshment. The dogs which were plenty were well behaved and even helped the roaming stock find their herd. This event was Hared by NOSEHARE, SQUAT AND WHITE TRASH. The near beer was discovered early on, but was kept secret by the FRONT RUNNING BASTARDS. The SHORT CUTTING BASTARDS were fingered and suffered Down Downs for their errors. Said Hashers being PRICKLY BUSH, BUSHWHACKER, FACE PLANT, COME FROM BEHIND, 5 MILE BARBIE, STICKY HUSTLER AND ROAD APPLE. Not using Hash names were FACEPLANT and TRASH. A new category was introduced as there was such blatant disregard for the lovely nature these Hashers were missing that QWICK N QWEEMIE and P-ON-ON paid for their crime which was verbal diarrhea on the trail. BOOTY CALL and BAREBACK pointed out that naming should happen to four entrants as they got close to five runs. So No Names became Names, as Christenings were provided for Leona, Jim, Lorna and Rob. Respectfully, DOGGIE STYLE, HEAD HOOKER, HOKEY POKEY HOE and TIGHT LIPS. A fine afternoon of relaxing followed, with the bbq fired up, plenty of burgers n’ dogs, and fine eats, including a delicious pumpkin cake!!! All enjoyed with a cold beer or two, chillin’ on the beach with a magnificent view, and fine company!! So endeth the hash. ON ON CHOO CHOO
