Runners Log 3-29-2014 1. This morning was a dress rehearsal. Things went pretty well, though my game time decision to wear Kushs Umbro soccer socks in place of my missing comprehension socks was not my best choice. 2. The Childrens bus broke down leaving Boston College this morning on our way to Hopkinton to start our run. Luckily this wasnt an omen for how my actual run would go... 3. Today was about joy - making sure to have joy in our lives, sharing joy with new friends and bringing joy back to the Boston Marathon 4. Good times on 135 high-fiving families stuck in major traffic for miles and miles and miles! Sharing the love out there!!! 5. Had a great trip down memory lane today running by my old Framingham haunts like TJs and the Chicken Bone Saloon. 6. So many powerful tributes on the course today but Megs Soles of Love took my breath away. #megsmiles 7. I came face to face with real courage at the bottom of Heartbreak Hill today, Richard Martins father cheering runners on from his water station and Richard Martins sister playing football with friends. #perspective 8. Jessica King and Kelly Sarno - I cant wait to run it all again with you on April 21st ( plus 5!) 9. And now its time for me to complete my runners log and spend some alone time with my Haagen Daas Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream!
