Running out of ideas? Here are some great green smoothie recipes! Remember, always switch up your greens! Never just do kale day after day, or spinach etc. as certain greens are high in oxalates and alkaloid substances and they can build up toxicity and block absorption of certain nutrients if taken in large doses indefinitely. Plus thats so boring! You can use any leafy green in your smoothie including but not limited to: beet greens, arugula, romaine, chard, baby greens, dandelion greens, chicory, radish greens, broccoli sprouts, and yes, even carrot tops! Make sure they are organic though as nonorganic greens are on the dirty dozen of heavily pesticide-sprayed fruits and veg. For that matter, same goes for your berries, apples, pears, and stone fruits!
