Rural Cambodia, Prey Vaeng province: Just about the time late afternoon were starting to think about dinner, our surroundings came alive with a cacophony of ... quacking! Quacking, you ask? Indeed, a herd of DUCKS was being driven past, on the way from one watering hole to another. DUCKS!! Even my Cambodian friends thought it was the coolest thing theyd seen in a while. Apparently ducks are easier to herd than cats. Who knew? (Probably lots of people knew. I may have led a fairly sheltered life, animal husbandry-wise.)
