Rush needs to stay out of the spiritual realm and stick to the political realm. He obviously knows nothing about the teachings of Christ on the poor, and he obviously did not read or understand the Popes position. 1. The Pope believes the role of the church should be focused on the spiritual realm and not the political. 2. He would agree with Rush in that it takes a lot of money to support the Vatican. Money the Pope has clearly stated should be redirected to the poor. 3. Jesus teachings on the poor and the wealthys role in helping the poor are pretty clear, and very much in line with the Popes statements.
