Ruslan Kogan - from garage to global Ruslan KoganKogan founder and CEO Ruslan Kogan will share his entrepreneurial story and reveal how he left a well paying job to start selling TV’s online from his parent’s garage with no capital. Ruslan will also talk about how Kogan has grown into a multinational consumer electronics and online retail business with offices in Australia, China, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. About the Speaker: Ruslan Kogan is a multi-award winning serial entrepreneur, and one of the pioneers of online retail in Australia. Growing up in commission flats in Melbourne, Ruslan was interested in technology at an early age, building his first computer at the age of nine. He started working for himself when he was just ten, by finding lost golf balls, cleaning them, repackaging them, and selling them to golfers at Elsternwick Golf Course. He has started over 20 businesses since the age of 10, with Kogan being his most successful.
