Russell Brand targets Foxs Judge Jeanine Pirro in disjointed rant; calls her African-American! Hollywood actor Russell Brand, known more for his obsession with Fox News than movies he starred in, has once again set his sights on the News Corp. media conglomerate. In his latest liberal rant, delivered half-dressed from an unmade bed, Brand issued a video suggesting Fox News host Jeanine Pirro is just as bad as the terrorists for saying “we need to kill” Islamic terrorists. First, Brand incorrectly said — apparently based on her complexion — that Pirro should not be calling terrorists “them” because she is “partial African-American” and should therefore be sensitive to “otherness.” “Do you not recognize that language?” he asked. “Do you not recognize the intonation?” Pirro is actually part Lebanese. Maybe that’s why she recognized the “intonation” of terrorism. In Saturday’s “Justice with Judge Jeanine,” Pirro used her opening comments to condemn the terrorists behind last week’s Paris attacks. “You can’t negotiate, you can’t mediate, you can’t bargain or even reason with these people,” she said. In response, Brand tried to shift the blame to Pirro, saying “the way she talks it’s like she actually believes we don’t participate in the creation of these dynamics.” “It’s not just ideologies this woman disavows, its basic physics; the way the energy works, “he said. “This person is prepared, the same as the terrorists, to cast aside human values. The right to free speech is important, but it isn’t as important as we are all human beings together, let’s find solutions together.” Brand went on to attack Rupert Murdoch, the CEO of News Corp., the parent company to Fox News. Brand suggested Murdoch would gain financially from the conflict escalating because he, “has investments in energy companies that would benefit from further military activity abroad” and “there’s always an economic angle.” While Brand in the video said all terrorism is wrong, he asked: “Who gets to define what terrorism is, who gets to decide what violence is necessary?” It looks like Brand has joined the Obama administration in blaming coverage by news media for stroking the ideology that leads to violence like those of the recent terrorists’ attacks by radical Islamic extremists.
