Russell Howard was great, and Im not one for a sob story but at the end he told a beautiful story, and it goes a little like this. There was a 15 year old kid who was terminally ill from cancer, and he wanted to meet Russell while he was in hospital and get drunk with him (Best place to drink ever, right?) so Russell did, and over time he visited this kid a good few times, and the kids favourite sketch was from Good News, where Russell is dressed as a giant pink cock. The kid after so many times of meeting Russell asked him if he would go to his funeral, and Russell agreed, but said he didnt wanna talk about that stuff because it was a little grim, and the kid turned around and went Look, dont be a prick. Its gonna be great so Russell asked why, and the kid said it was fancy dress, and he was organising who would go dressed as what, so as you can imagine, what did Russell have to wear? That giant cock suit! He wanted the kid to write a letter though saying it was all his idea, just making sure it wasnt any kind of joke and he would be the only one dressed up haha. News came that this kid only had 3 days left to live, but something beautiful happened, he started to recover, literally from last few days he started to show signs of improvement and by what can literally only be described as a miracle he made a brilliant recovery and Russell was so amazed that he said he will tell people on his tour about this, and he would go one better by showing a picture of the two together, the kid was thrilled and asked What should I wear though? and well, Russell said that giant cock suit. Then a picture came up of this kid wearing the suit with Russell stood next to him. Honestly, Ive never laughed and had such an Awww moment in my entire life :)
