Rutgers mens basketball finishes its 23rd consecutive season without NCAA tournament bid. Last time in tourney was 1991. In 1991: 1. Rob Hill, Robert Franz, Carolyn Wheeler, Flavio Komuves, Brian Villa and Anthony Gore were still Rutgers students; 2. Head coach Fast Eddie Jordan was an assistant to Bob Wenzel; 3. Rutgers was in the Atlantic 10; 4. Nelson Mandela had just been released from jail; 5. Rory McGregor had just met a hot chick in a bar in Japan; 6. The first George Bush was President of the United States; 7. There was still a Soviet Union; 8. There was no internet; 9. Jane Sangster, Kelly Lynch, Michael Alex, Michael Shore, Sue Flinker, Pamela J Thomas, and I were (proud) MTV employees; and 10.
