Ruth 1:16-17 NIV [16] … Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. [17] Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me .” … That is the commitment I made to my best friend 30 years ago tonight.. And we have been best friends, partners, lovers, parents, fighters, co workers, but most of all, lovers of the one true God that has enabled us to have endured the trials and tribulation of 30 years of marriage. Through the good and bad, fat and lean, up and down, Charlotte has been by my side and me hers thru it all. And I do mean ALL. we have been a lot of places and seen many things and we have learned something from each place and experience we have been thru, and are thankful to God for allowing us the opportunity to have experienced them together.
