Ruth and Olly got married on a beautifully sunny September afternoon at Cramond Kirk in Edinburgh, where guests arrived wearing sunglasses and a select few enjoying ice cream! Reverend Russel Barr conducted the wedding ceremony, inviting a few of the couples friends up to deliver some readings. Vows were exchanged, documents signed and the couple were married and their first act as husband and wife was a success... to survive the onslaught of confetti. PHEW :) A short bus journey took all to The Assembly Rooms in the city centre though at this point that powerful morning light was beginning to dip behind the Edinburgh rooftops and as the night enveloped the day so too did the guest to canapés and champagne. The beautiful sound of Cairn String Quartet played as the soundtrack to the drinks reception and to the announcement and entrance of the bride and groom to the dinning room. It was here three hilarious and heartfelt speeches followed, some of which feature in this new style of wedding trailer. Post dinner, space was made for a dance-floor which was packed all night with people ceilidh dancing and busting shapes to pop songs. Ruth & Olly we had such a fun day with you guys, you were so relaxed and happy, we hope the rest of your married life is as happy.
