Rwandas gruesome genocide was one failed case for humanity and its compassion. Western imperialist projects in Africa not only scrambled the continent between western powers, but also created conducive conditions for polarization, violence, ethnic cleansing and genocide. In some cases , western imperialists plundered the local resources, for example, Congo where western imperialists described by some as white thieves robbed local diamonds and other resources . In other cases, while they plunder local resources, they systematically created conditions by their own actions such as ethnic census, favoring minority for violence and genocide. Rwandas gruesome stories reflecting the suffering of Tutsis is case in point to know the painful history of civilized west . Its our duty if were interested in seeking better global order and peace for all to know the history. If you dont know the history, you will praise oppressors as liberators.
