I remember your dad sharing his testimony years ago.... how he had given his heart to Jesus during some difficult times in his life.... the best news of that is once that decision was made.... once he gave up his life and let Jesus be HIS Savior he was forever sealed and secured.... his past, present and future sin cast as far as the east is to the west...... forever forgiven and redeemed..... its just some times this life and all of the struggle keep people bound and trapped and too often people forget who they are in Christ....they cant grasp the reality of being forgiven and free..... it is hard for people who have been down to realize the depths of Gods redeeming love and grace..... but thank God HIS mercy isnt based on us.... HIS mercy is limitless.... unconditional.... without condemnation..... so please boys know.... that your dad, even though he struggled hard in this earthly life..... based on his testimony of what he did with JESUS a long time ago in his younger years.... is more alive than ever in the presence of JESUS.... and for the first time in his life he is experiencing the extravagant gift of grace... mercy... redemption.... and he is walking in complete and total freedom..... Romans 8:1..... Romans 8:38-39..........John 10:28-30..... Have peace boys.... rest in knowing that God is true and merciful and good.....
