Ryan Lewis -- you asked some questions in a previous thread. I went to the Million Vet March on the Memorials to support our veterans. I am a veteran, my father was a veteran, my father in law was a veteran, and numerous uncles, brothers, nephews, cousins, are veterans as well. America honors many different people with memorials, and we have for hundreds of years. Humankind has honored people with memorials since the beginning of recorded time. The World War Two memorial was build with private funds and it is maintained with private funds. The mall in Washington DC belongs to the people of the United States. It contains the Lincoln Memorial on one end, and the Washington Monument at the other, and many memorials in-between. There are memorials all over DC and around it. Why that offends you makes no sense to me.
