Ryan and I finally made it back to Albuquerque yesterday about 9:45am. Unfortunately, our luggage didnt make it until 6pm. Doctors are still unsure what is happening with Riley -- but they have determined his salt levels are very low and have moved him to ICU so they can strictly monitor it while they pump some more into him. His blood pressure has also been high so they have him on meds for that as well. They believe he may be fighting another infection so have added a broad spectrum antibiotic for good measure. Although ICU is not always a fun place, I am relieved that he will be closely monitored while they are trying to figure it all out. The CT scan they took doesnt show any growth of the tumor (which is good news) or anything else to be concerned about -- in his head, so the neurodoc and the cancer doc dont feel this is specifically tumor related, but more a side effect. We are all still trying to get caught back up on our sleep so were only tired instead of exhausted. If youve called or texted and we havent responded, please know were not ignoring you on purpose!!
