Ryan brought his mug over and sat on the couch opposite Lana and took a breath before taking a sip of his own tea. ‘Well,’ he began, ‘a little more than twenty years ago I was married to my second wife Karen, uh, don’t interrupt Lana,’ Ryan said with a half-smile raising his hand in a gesture to head off her well anticipated questioning comment.
