Ryker got his RATI title today, stands for Barn Hunt Instinct :) he would have gotten his first leg for his RATN-Novice Barn Hint but a handler error cost him that :(. He had signaled that he had found the right tube with the rat in it but it was too subtle and I moved him off to look elsewhere. He had no problem going through the tunnel, it was actually taller than the one that we had practiced on so that was a relief, and he did not pee on the hay! We will have to practice more and I will have to teach him to let me know better when he has found it. Next one is in December. Ill have to catch more mice around my house for practice ;). My friend Karen and her Dobie Jezzie got there 2nd and 3rd legs total so they got her title. She is amazing to watch, so quick at Finding them and then pulls them out so there is no mistaking it! Way to go! It was fun and everyone there was so nice.
