S/O of another thread: I saw a lot of people assert that good works are a *natural* product of faith. While I completely agree that true faith results in good works, I dont know that I believe that ALL good works are natural. I do a lot of good works out of obedience but sometimes good works are difficult for me to do (being kind to someone who intentionally hurts or takes advantage of me, etc). Does this mean that I should question my salvation? That I might not have true faith because I do not believe that good works are always natural but often something we must go out of our way and comfort to do? Is it natural to turn the other cheek?
