S.T.A.R.S Autism School has been APPROVED for the SIS (Specialized Instructional Services) Educational Program as the 1st school in Miami Dade County to offer the program. SIS is a new option for parents of four-year-old children with disabilities that is available outside the traditional classroom setting. Children now do not have to attend public school to be eligible for the McKay Scholarship. The SIS program qualifies as a year in the public school setting. =) We are extremely excited!
