SA Media is forcing us to gulp mediocre standard publication not tru to our Youth aspirations. Ive been viewing the constant publications covering the ill mannered nd easily impeded nature of our incubated youth falling prey to crime, substance abuse and teenage pregnancy. Seldom does the media cover the success of a black child in light of the latter/above mentioned atrocity and social ills. We want more coverage on: How a rural youngman and Scholar frm the Eastern Cape Lukhona Afika Mnguni has rose above adversity to enrol for masters studies in Scotland,UK How Ntokozo Sboh Qwabe a marginalised worker at a food retail store rose above financial exclusion to recieve prestigious awards in Law, receipt Nelson Mandela Rhodes Scholarship to study Law at Oxford University, UK How Mukovhe Morris Masutha founder of Thusanani Foundation frm the the rural Limpopo managed to conceptualise a program aimed at advancing the career aspirations of rural youth in SA and achieve his masters degree at Wits How a young businessman Vuyo Hlati with his sophisticated international education and backgroud wud establish a black owned property business in da face of economic uncertainty. How Simamkele Dlakavu from the impoverished Eastern Cape rose to debate CEOs on national platforms. Militant nd robust in social activism nd women empowerment. How Kwazi Obed Mathe Ndlanzi after being imprisoned for years has emerged by passing his matric in prison with with maximium distinctions. To his enrollment at a higher instituition We want more stories of a black child nd of our own, emerging frm the social gutter nd political dustins of life to unprecendent positions in life for we can relate and aspire for greatness in dat light, not the low and distasteful mediocre standard publiction we are forced to gulp.
