The media is invited to attend and cover the event. The Congress will take place from 10 – 14 December 2014 under the theme: ‘Intensifying Youth Mobilisation for Socialism’. The Young Communist League of South Africa, a youth wing of the SACP, is expected to discuss and adopt a four-year political and organisational programme of action for the period starting 2014 December ending 2018 December, and elect new leadership to take forward the struggle for socialism among the youth.
