SAD NEWS!!! Very sad to hear that Moses Akatuga of Delta state would be hanged. Unless good Nigerians with good heart put pressures on the authority not to. Only in Nigeria this kind of thing is happening. Cell phones are often stolen all over the world and I have never heard of any petty thief hanged except in Nigeria if this sentence is carried out. Nigerian Judiciary is the most laughable in the whole world ! Note: last week I made a comment about a Judge I.E Ekwo who sentenced a former kogi local government official ONLY 6 MONTHS for N 7 million embezzlement, and on Tuesday last week as reported by Vanguard news paper, Moses Akatuga, a 24 year student was sentenced to death by hanging ! His crime ? He stole an Iphone and some ridiculous amount of money which is not up to $2000. Should any Nigeria die for this kind of petty crime ? The answer is NO. If I STEAL AN IPHONE IN MANHATTAN AND I WAS SENTENCED TO DEATH WONT YOU NIGERIANS RALLY AROUND ME AND SAY THE JUDGEMENT WAS RACIST ? Why is nobody speaking out to condemn this EFFURUN -Delta judgement ? All clergy men in Delta area especially in Effeurun please prevail on the Governor not carry out this SHAMEFUL SENTENCE OF DEATH BY HANGING ! Nigerian Judicial Commission must issue out A NATIONAL SENTENCING GUIDELINES TO ALL JUDGES. Nigerian Judges have too much discretionary power, and most often that power is abused, and this is a case in point,,, Plz nigerian wat are ur suggestion or contribution on dis??
