SAD THROWBACK THURSDAY I just discovered today that Scott Lane, who played McKeever on McKeever And The Colonel had died on Dec. 12, 2011 of a heart attack--in Cuba. Besides acting, he also was a writer, composer and director. As a kid, I enjoyed working with him and staying over at his house a few times in Beverly Hills. He was only 60 when he died. We had been out-of-touch all these years since the series ended--but it looks like he had a wonderful life and family.
