SAD. The ugliness of the radio industry rose again over the past couple of days. Yesterday, the Market Manager of Clear Channel Radio in Seattle was abruptly fired and replaced. She just started the position a few months ago. And, in Las Vegas, another radio group has taken away a lot of accounts from top sellers, put the sales staff on small salaries and substantially reduced commissions. This, allegedly, is to level the playing field of sale staff incomes. To ME, this is pure Socialized Radio. Very, very sad.
