SAFETY FOR PETS in DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Im thrilled to have been asked to make a short speech tomorrow at the start of the 2nd annual BARKK to end the silence 5K pet walk starting at the Bangor Waterfront at 8:30am. Through divine intervention, my friend Jenny Dwyer, the founder of the Paw it Forward Foundation was not murdered two years ago. She is living to create change for others in domestic violence situations who fear not only for themselves and their children, but for their pets.
