SAFF Championship: India and Bangladesh draw The India versus Bangladesh match ended in a 1-1 draw in their second group stage match of the ongoing SAFF Championship 2013. The match was held at Halchowk Ground in the capital on Tuesday. Though the match ended goal-less in the first half, Bangladesh kicked a goal in the 81th minute. Bangladesh’s hope to win the match crashed when the Indian captain Sunil Chhetri’s free kick at the 93rd minute turned into a lucky goal and leveled the score. So far, India has collected total four points while Bangladesh has one point after playing their two matches respectively. In the previous Group ‘A’ matches, India beat Pakistan 1-0 and Bangladesh lost to host Nepal 2-0. Now, India will play against Nepal and Bangladesh will take on Pakistan in their last group stage matches. Nepal and Pakistan are also set to take on each other in another match of the day, scheduled for 6.30 pm at Dasharath Stadium. If Nepal wins the match, they will advance to the semi-final of the championship from Group ‘A’.
