With our theme of emphasising the significance of National Service and the upholding of peace in this years SAFRA Photo Convention, we would like everybody to share inspirational stories related to Singapores National Service! Email them to Conventions@SAFRAPhotoClub, with your full name according to your NRIC, NRIC/passport number and contact number. The stories of us and our friends during our National Service days. The fun and excitement of being in camp. Continuing our camaraderie as NSmen, as we progress on in our careers and family life. Stories that we still enjoy recounting as we meet up with our old comrades. This submission is open to anybody, citizen or non-citizen. We want to hear how Singapores National Service has been an inspiration to you. From the perspective of a girlfriend, a wife, a parent or a foreigner, if you feel the sense of purpose and would like to share words of encouragement, we would like you to share that experience with everybody. We will endeavour to publish all positive stories. Every week, beginning on 1st Nov, one lucky published winner will be entitled to a free ticket to the Convention held on Saturday 23rd Nov, it comes with all programme and goodie bag entitlements. The cut-off time for each weeks lucky draw will be at 12pm on Friday. Submissions after 12pm will be put to the following weeks lucky draw. Final date of submission is 12pm Friday 22nd Nov 2013. The weekly lucky draw winner will be published on safraphotoclub every Saturday. The weekly winning story and excerpts of some interesting submissions will also be shared on SAFRA Photo Clubs Facebook page. There will also be an overall winning entry to be picked from all published stories on SAFRA Photo Clubs Facebook page. This entry will be determined by the most number of Likes as of 12pm Friday 22nd Nov 2013. The prize for this will be announced in mid Nov and given out during the convention on 23rd Nov. Terms and Conditions: ------------------------- Submission of different stories by the same person is allowed. Each submission is regarded as one story. A story can only win the weekly lucky draw once during the whole period of submission up to the final date. However, it is eligible for the overall winning entry by popularity in the clubs Facebook page. Winners will be notified by your submitted contact number and your NRIC/passport will be required for verification upon collection of your prize. Please note that all stories will be screened before being reposted by administrators on the Facebook page. Any story deemed unsuitable will not be published. All published stories will have the submitting persons name or moniker published alongside. Any offensive story or moniker will render the entire submission void. Submission of any story binds the submitting person to an agreement to let these stories be published and reused in any medium, in whole, in part or not be published, under the absolute discretion of the administrators assigned by the SAFRA Photo Convention committee.
