SAL depot and ACL freight station in Live Oak, FL now serve as a museum. The last time I had been through Live Oak several years ago, the museum was closed. Ive wanted to go back and see what was inside. I got my chance to go in this past Wednesday, and I was surprised at the reception I got when I walked in. First the place was dark, hardly any lights on. A man and a woman was sitting down, the lady was on the phone. I asked if the museum was open, the sign said it opens at 10 (it was 11am), the man said yes. I asked if there was a fee, he said no. I then proceeded to take a picture of an old crossbuck, the lady gets off the phone and proceeds to tell me (rather rudely I might add) that I cannot take pictures. I was fine with that, and was proceeding to put the lid back on the lens. She then tells me that I have to delete the picture, and take my camera to the car and then I can come back in. I told her that I would be leaving, she then proceeded to follow me and tell me that I didnt have to leave.......I then told oh I was leaving. I would not recommend visiting this museum. Very Rude!!
