#SALE #SALD #SOLDES :- Hello beautiful people. Its that time of the year that we all eagerly await. Yes!!!! its #SALETIME!!! WOOHOOOO!! YIPPIEEE... Wait ...am I the only one excited here or are you guys as excited as me. Well of course you are. I can see that big smile coming up and lightning your Million dollar Face... Not that we need a reason to shop anyways, but who minds the extra discount...certainly not me. In fact being in retail for many years now. I confess sale is the best time to shop.( if you arent lucky to get the employee discount lol..) But having said that I know this is also the time we tend to get a little OK not little, A LOT carried away:).So today I will be sharing a few tips to Smart shopping during the sale season. As the nice me do not want my favourite people to regret later.. So heres how to master the art of shopping and holding your horses while sale shopping. 1) Wear Comfortable clothes and shoes # Shopping during sales can be no less than a Marathon. You have to browse several stores, try on different clothes and shoes. You dont want your self struggling in the trail room with the snug fit out fit ( That you wish you wont have worn in the first place). So wear a comfy dress or loose pants and top which are easy to remove and comfortable. Also I prefer wearing flip flops as they are easy to get on an off, plus they make me less lazy of trails. 2)Look Around before you pick# I know one often tends to get carried away on seeing the word #Sale /#Discount. But Take a deep breath and tell your self let me look around. As you sure dont want to regret later on seeing something you like better then what you picked plus its certainly better to have choice around. 3)Shop During week days# Ok .. I know that you tend to get better deals during weekends then why weekdays. Well its more of a personal choice between quality over quantity. So if you just want to shop for the heck of it weekends are great( Better to go-during day time) but if you are looking for something specific then better to go during weekdays as less crowd, you get to browse better as half the options are not lying in the trail room or with another customer. Plus also the chance of the good stuff running out in the first weeks of sale. 4.Dont get carried away# This is very important especially during the sale time. Think need over want. Take a deep breath before you make up your mind as you dont want to pick up something which you will never wear and will lie in your closet forever. I know things look more desirable when on discount. Dont pick a pair of shoes which are uncomfortable just because they are on 70% off, instead use that money to buy something you will actually wear. 5. Double minded its a no# If you are not sure about something, dont pick it up on impulse. Mull over it. Take your time to sleep over it and if you still think you cant get it out of your head. Go ahead and pick it up. This has really helped me to become a wise buyer over the time. Trust me being in the mall all the time its not easy to resist. 6. Good Time to prep for next season# This is one tips I swear by.One of the best times to get the most bang for your buck is to shop around the end of a season. Generally, stores overhaul their merchandise, so during summer sale you might find some good pcs for winter, so you can pick them up in advance and be ready for the coming season. Similarly for summers. A good thing to keep in mind is not to pick up pcs for stocking which are fad or which might run out of fashion. So play safe with nice basics.
