SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER: Manpower has an exciting new opportunity to work for one of our rapidly expanding clients in Oxford City Centre. The role would be perfectly suited for a bright and motivated graduate looking to further their career in the sales side of the publishing industry. The role includes elements of: • Direct sales, marketing, product management • Understanding what the customer wants • Delivering information to editorial to enhance product development • Recruit, train and manage telesales staff • Working with freelancers to produce marketing materials • Utilising marketing channels such as social media, web advertising and emailing • Use your creative intelligence to communicate the products strengths to customers • Attending conferences and exhibitions worldwide to sell the benefits of the product Candidate profile: • A creative problem solver who takes responsibility for pushing the business • Must be flexible and confident and be able to work under pressure • A graduate with the ability to understand technical and business information • Computer literate and experience with databases and organising information • Able to train telesales executives to understand business principles, work ethics etc • A strong negotiator who can close sales with senior execs in a business environment • Hard working, reliable and undaunted by rejection The company is based in a central location in Oxford and offers and excellent package with the advantage of international travel.
