SALVATION AND ITS RAMIFICATIONS: Eph. 1:13-14; And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are Gods possession to the praise of His glory. This is the hope we have in Christ Jesus. What a benevolent God we serve. First, let us understand that before Christ, we the gentiles were not part of Gods salvation plan as that of the Jews; but had been promised in Jesus Christ. Please read carefully Luke 2:28-32; Simeon took Him in his arms and praised God, saying: Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: A LIGHT FOR REVELATION TO THE GENTILES, and the glory of your people Israel. This is Gods provision for salvation for we the gentiles. Jesus duty on earth was to save us by buying and paying our slave master, sin, with His BLOOD to bring us to Gods salvation plan. Whoever believed in the gospel message as in Eph. 1:13-14 was included in Christ and marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit as a deposit guaranteeing his inheritance until the redemption of those who are Gods possession. And now ask yourself the big question. Who are Gods possession? He bought and paid for your sins to save you because He loved you and needs you to work for Him by obeying and serving Him alone. If you do not obey His commands of loving your neighbour and serving Him by doing good works after He has saved you; youre of no use to Him and can not remain in His good books; thereby nullifying all His good promises and intentions for you: eternity with Him. You may deceive yourself by hiding under deceptive doctrines and false beliefs, but the gospel truth is: Obeying the Master, Jesus Christ, who has commanded you to love as He has loved you by doing good works to become HIS POSSESSION. Look at how His possessions are determined or how one qualifies as Gods possession. In Matth. 25:31-46, Jesus lists the righteous who He describes as Sheep who would sit at His right hand to inherit the kingdom of God; Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer Him........Read Matth.25:31-46 complete. My beloved, weve all been saved by grace and marked with the seal, the promised Holy spirit as a deposit till Gods possessions will be redeemed. You can only be part of Gods possessions to inherit the kingdom of God by fighting for it with love of neighbour by good works as Christ has commanded with fear and trembling. Brothers and sisters, inheriting the kingdom of God is not easy or cheap; we need the power of the Holy Spirit continually to be able. Jesus warns us in Matth. 7:14 that the way is hard that leads to life. In Mark 10:21; Jesus talked about self-sacrifice, Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him; One thing thou lackest; go thy way, sell whatever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven. Doing good and loving as Christ did, is what we were saved for. No matter what you belief or hold fast to: the Bible makes it clear without any doubt in 1 Cor. 6:9-11; Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Only those who have crucified the flesh with Christ and obey and serve Him with fear and trembling will inherit the kingdom of God. We have decided to follow Jesus and no matter the cost, theres no turning back. We love God, but incapable of expressing according to His will due to our human limitations. I therefore pray that, the Holy Spirit, our comforter and divine strength, empower us to be worthy of His Holy name, Jesus, and to the praise of His glory, in Jesus name, amen.
