SAM is waiting reply/answers from Forestry Department of Malaysia/FDM. So do I and the rakyat. FDM has to provide clarification as genuine as possible and soonest the better. Forest system is hutan belantara. Permanent Forest Reserves are part of Hutan Belantara but Hutan Belantara is not equal to forest plantations. Forest plantations are huge tract of monoculture farms of crops, disastrous for water catchments, ecosystems and biodiversity. Hutan Belantara is our Khazanah Negara/nationa,vital & strategic assets dan tidak dijualbeli secara murahan atau di tukarganti dengan nilai/barangan kelas dua. Our forest should not be plundered so easily and this plundering is done and disguised as development projects in exchange for short term financial/economic gains for the capitalist few on the expense of the majority. Btw, what is the difference between plunderers and corrupters? Hardly any. Both species are homo economicus -reckless (biadap and exploitatively opportunistic) to the core. Their common modes operandi is privatizing profit and socializing debt. These monkeess place is behind bar.
