SAMBA POLICE APPREHENDED ABSCONDING HARD CORE CRIMINAL NAMELY MOHD RAIFQ AND HIS ACCOMPLICE AVINASH @ MUNSHI Samba Police today apprehended hardcore criminal namely Mohd Rafiq S/O Late Abdul Majeed R/O Trait Basti, Bari-Brahmna and his accomplice Avinash Kumar @ Munshi S/O Badri Nath R/O Himachal Pradesh at present Dhollian, Bari-Brahmna from FLOURISHEEN HOTEL, HAUZ RANI MARKET, SOUTH DELHI after hectic efforts. The individual was absconding after commission of crime on 17.08.2014 due to which the public of Bari-Brahmna area has shown strong resentment and had given band call was given on 19.08.2014 and the NHW was blocked at Smailpur Chowk Bari-Brahmna under the leadership of one Karnail Singh, father of complainant Jatinder Singh demanding immediate arrest of accused Mohd Rafiq S/O Late Abdul Majeed R/O Trait Basti, Bari-Brahmna. Pertinent to mention here that on 17.08.2014 Case FIR No. 97/2014 u/s 307/341/148/149 RPC was registered at Police Station Bari-Brahmna against 07 accused persons out of which 03 were arrested namely (1) Vinod S/O Ram Pal, (2) Vikrant @ Billa S/O Sewa Ram and (3) Naseem S/O Abdul Majeed, all R/O Bari-Brahmna but rest of 04 accused persons including Mohd Rafiq S/O Late Abdul Majeed R/O Trait Basti, Bari-Brahmna who is a notorious hardcore criminal and was absconding after the commission of crime. Different teams were constituted by Shri Anil Magotra, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Samba for the apprehension of all the accused persons especially Mohd Rafiq S/O Late Abdul Majeed R/O Trait Basti, Bari-Brahmna whose arrest was repeatedly demanded by the other party and the teams were dispatched to Punjab, Himachal, Udhampur and Delhi by train. Accused was also kept under technical surveillance and his mobile locations were being monitored time to time but the accused being hardcore notorious criminal was aware about mobile surveillance and was frequently changing his mobile to avoid technical surveillance and Police was facing difficulty in tracing his location. Finally, a Police team led by Shri Shazaad Salaria, Dy. SP, SDPO Bari-Brahmna succeeded in apprehending the accused namely Mohd Rafiq S/O Late Abdul Majeed R/O Trait Basti, Bari-Brahmna and his accomplice Avinash Kumar @ Munshi S/O Badri Nath R/O Himachal Pradesh at present Dhollian, Bari-Brahmna from FLOURISHEEN HOTEL, HAUZ RANI MARKET, SOUTH DELHI after raiding different locations in collaboration with Delhi Police. Insp. S.D. Singh, SHO P/S Bari-Brahmna also played a vital role in surveillance and apprehension of the accused persons.
